I wish that real life had an autofill. It’d really help with remembering your supervisor from 4 jobs ago.

What I hate even more are the ones that require you to upload a resume, and then require you to spend 30 minutes filling in forms on their website copying everything that’s in your resume.

1. Please attach your resume.

2. Please manually fill in all the information from your resume into the boxes below.

3. Please take this personality test that will take you 20-9000 mins filled with stupid questions asked 3 different ways.

4. Thanks for applying we’ll be in touch. *Never calls*

I took a 3 month break from work once that turned into 6 months. I still have nightmares about filling in job applications. I’d do 10 before noon every day (cept the weekends). However, my friends now come to me to practice interviews as well as resume critiques as I’ve seen it all at this point.

Yup!

Recently one company in particular really aggravated me with their “process”.

Step 1. Send Resume via email.

Step 2. Fill out a full application online.

Step 3. Fill out a full paper application on site (4 pages double sided).

Step 4. Submit paper resume on site .

Step 5. Interview part 1 of 3.

Step 6. Submit fresh copy of resume for each Interview!!

I wound up turning them down after all of that BS too.

How many Trees do I have to kill for this job?!

Like trying to find out if your references are still at the companies you worked at?

Jolly fun time, that is!

Yeah, a hidden talent....job assistance plus therapy. I always did practice interviews at the bar.
