Never dismiss the power of the Pinz to draw crowds. Thor brought in $65mil, mainly because the starpower of the 716K Pinz. And now Jurassic World will, in all likelihood, have the biggest opening weekend ever. JP1 and The Lost World also did this when they were released.

Of course, I knew it would be like this the day the trailer was released:

The point is, historically, people will come out in the millions to see a movie with a Pinzgauer.

I was pretty disappointed that the 6x6 only had a few seconds of screen time. It’s basically the t-rex of automobiles.

Just saw this movie today. There’s even a totally Jalop scene where the kids fix up and drive an old Jurassic Park 1 Jeep. Good film.

Yep. The younger brother specifically identified the year, trim, and color of the Jeep. And the older brother actually said “remember when we fixed up grandpa’s old Malibu, right?”

But two different kinds. There are many here who know every make and model but have never gotten their hands dirty. Not saying one is better than the other, just two different kinds of Jalops.

I’d like to think that after their experiences in JW, the kids will become huge Jeep guys. They should be at Easter Jeep Safari when the next movie comes out :)
