Some people have trouble with other’s telling them what to do. It’s like a thing. Just ask the question: “I asked you to take out the trash, you put it spare bedroom, what’s up with that?”

Fig 1: If the answer doesn’t make any sense in your mind, give 30 days notice (or whenever it’s appropriate, like after he pays the rent for the current month so he can’t stiff you for two.) Fig 2: If it makes sense from a damaged point of view, you can 1) try to handle the underlying thing or 2) explain what’s really needed to make the world turn or 3) See figure 1.

The older I get, the less time I have for willful (meaning, [typical younger] people that don’t *want* to become better/grownup/etc.) adolescence. It’s my “get off my lawn” style. I wish I’d had it in my 20’s more strongly - I would have wasted a *lot* less time screwing around with losers.
