With Project Cars floundering and Forza 6 out this year, surely this must be the year. The year for them to announce it will be out in 2017.

It seems overpriced consider you still have to pay extra for the shifters

that rather sucks.. I bought my G25 almost 7 years ago now for roughly $300 with everything. another thing is that the G29 is PS4 only. Why not make the wheel work with the PC and the Xbox one instead of making a whole new wheel for that platform?

It seems VERY overpriced considering it seems to be a facelift of a G27 with no H shifter for twice the price. Even $200 for the G27 was borderline at this point, considering age.

G29 is for PS, G920 is for Xbox. They’re both facelifted G27s.

yes, I’m aware of that, but why not make one wheel instead of two? They’re nearly identical with the exception of the shift lights as well as a couple buttons.

Well, hopefully this means the G27 will get a whole lot cheaper.

The facts that Logitech has had deals with Sony for Playstation branding in the past and Microsoft will not allow you to have a wheel with generic button naming both probably played a huge part. I would say the price of Microsoft’s required chip would be a factor but it’s the same price on both sides AFAIK and massively overpriced at that.
But really, trying to find sense in a company’s move to facelift a design that’s changed little over 10 years and charge more for it is a silly endeavor. Who is actually going to buy this stuff is my big question.

Two problems
Wheel, no belt. Still a gear set.
Pedals, look like g27 pedals. Need to step up their game to something like these
