My neighbor across the street has a girlfriend that owns a blue Sunfire. She normally parks it in front of their house.

Two nights ago, a Suburban hit it at 35-40mph. We live in a 25mph zone.

This is what’s left of the Sunfire.

(Tarp is to keep water out, not because of fatalities. Car was vacant at time of incident.)

Somebody in a Suburban doesn’t know how to drive? Astonishing. I’d like to hear their explanation for what happened, probably along the lines of “they shouldn’t have parked their car where I drive”.

Thank god no one was in the sunfire when it was hit. Hopefully the suburban drivers insurance will give your neighbor enough money to get a safer car.

Looks like her plan worked. I mean if I had a Sunfire I’d park it on the street too in hopes someone would steal it or total it. Then I could get the insurance money to buy something better.

It was beyond saving already anyway. Also, if this really was a 35mph crash, I dont wanna be in a Sunfire while driving at normal speeds.
