I would start with that. do an image search to find the location of the part.

I did that to quite some extend, all I could find was some sort of diagram which indicates which one on the circuit board it is, but not where that board is exactly.

Can you hear the fuel pump with the key on? It might be worth checking the wiring around the pump its self if the relay turns out not to be the problem, though it will most likely mean dropping the fuel tank. Don’t fill up if you plan on checking. It sucks dropping a tank that you just put 50 litres in.

It only happened twice so far, and the car started again afer not even 5 minutes. So I didn’t have much time to do diagnostics when the problem is actually present. I can hear it running fine NOW, but that doesn’t say much.

That certainly sounds like a borked relay. Have you noticed any other electrical faults? Flickering lights, bad spark, elweak blower motor? Could also be an indication of a bad ground. Check your main ground for corrosion.
I know you said it was a Honda, but what model is it?

It is likely to be under the dash by the cruise control module, which should be on the driver’s side (quite possibly the right side). I would post a part image if you haven’t seen it yet (you probably have) but kinja hates me.

It’s possible. You may be able to bypass it for testing purposes by just jumping one wire to the other.
