And she literally picked it up first time she let out of the clutch.

She’s always loved cars and always loved that I love driving fun cars, and her dad has a nice c3 Vette but she never felt the need to learn standard even though I’ve bugged her to let me teach her since we first started dating like 4 years ago.

Anyways we were on our way back from Bidwell (banging wings place in CT) and some kid tried to race me lol. He was in a t5 wagon and I was in my 325i.

Long story short I told him I do my racing at the track and autocross courses these day. then he complimented me on my rims and how my car looked.

Then me and the girlfriend were chatting a bit about cars and I finally convinced her to let me teach her how to do it.

She literally picked it up first try and multiple times after without stalling. My clutch is almost brand new and pretty light but still I was super impressed, it took me like more then a few times to get the car moving the first time I tried driving standard.

Funny thing is she’s been watching me do it for the last few years and her dads been taking her for rides in her Vette since she was a kid.

She just never really knew how the whole balance the clutch and gas went.

Didn't even know that clutch was on the left lol
