It’s 22:34 and I started fitting a steering guard at 19:30.

Going to try to strip the chipping bits off the bumper before you repaint it green? I see you got in over your head with having the steering guard roll into chassis clean and redo, so I’m being “helpful”, y’see.

Yessir, and I can take my time too. I’m going to stick a tubular bumper on for now so I can prep the current one. I needs me some NATO green though, and until then I’m going to work my way around the chassis with wire brushes and underseal. I’m taking back and painting the extremities, and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna plump for a new rear cross member. And I’ve found a new rear door, with heater filaments that work.
