Finally put in a request for some leave time today for my birthday next month. Hopefully it’s granted so I can see my sweet thang. I wish I could bring her on base but I think she’s better off at my parents place in Houston. Ready for some alone time with this one (and family time as well ).

Man, your post is bringing back some memories. Not sure where your base is and how far it is from your folks, but if you can take it with you. Drive it, enjoy it as much as you can. I went to college and I thought my car was better off at home.

What a read, really felt your pain on that one. I actually bought this Not too long ago after my Malibu pretty much started crapping out. Fixed a few things and rebuilt the engin. It was my daily like yours but after I joined the army it sometimes gets driven by my dad. I’m up here at ft.benning in Georgia (parents in Houston) and I wish I could bring it up here but we don’t really ever have free time.
