I know we need to save the manuals, but this one wasn’t worth saving. Stiff clutch pedal, awkward shifter position with first gear way over at centerline away from the driver and up high, and stiff. Add to that an engine that wanted to rev up when you let off the throttle and an engine that seemed to have a uniformly bland power band. Great driver seat, nice light steering and a good ride.

I like my ‘90 Corolla better. Steel cable from pedal to throttle body, et cetera. They don’t build ‘em like they used to.

I had a camry rental car once, and the engine was so weird. It had a torque MOUNTAIN right at 1000rpm and then nothing. It shot off the line like a bat out of hell for the first 20 feet.

Drove a Corolla for my drivers training. Not bad, but not memorable.

My ‘90 Corolla is a joy to drive. At 230k miles. They don’t build ‘em like they used to.

The rear seats are very uncomfortable in the Sienna, at least it was so several years ago when I rode in my friend’s. I almost bought a Sienna new in around ‘05 and bought a Caravan instead. I liked the Caravan a lot, but it was underpowered.
