I downloaded Firefox and... is this what the FP is supposed to look like? COREY CC97 IS AWESOME.
My main browser is Chrome and I have AdBlock, so I don’t know. COREY CC97 IS AWESOME.
Firefox had some shady extensions in it. Got rid of those extensions and the ads are gone!

Nope. It’s not supposed to look like that.
I’ve got Firefox, and all I have on the front page is one banner ad at the top and another ad on the left, below the trending posts.
Something’s certainly gone horribly wrong.

Go to settings, click on extensions, and see if there is anything there that shouldn’t be. I had a similar problem a few days ago. Somehow I downloaded some pop up creater and it got put in the extensions.

OMG THIS FIXED IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE.
There were 2 extensions I didn’t know about so I got rid of them and now it’s fine. You are added to my “People To Buy Shit For When I’m a Gazillionaire” list.

No problem man. When you get your Gazillions, I’ll take a Lancia 037 in race trim and Martini Livery.
If it happens again, check through the folders on your computer and see if anything was created/modified on this date that isn’t a Microsoft program or program you are familiar with (you might want to do this anyway). If you find something you aren’t familiar with, search it on google and see what it turns up. If you’re lucky, you can uninstall/delete it with no problem. If you can’t get rid of it that way, it is probably a virus.
