I knew that the Volkswagen Group had a majority share in all of its subsidiaries but I never realized how much they really had. Here’s a look at just how much they really own:
AUDI AG, the Audi Group and the Audi marque - 99.55%
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and the Lamborghini marque - 100%
Bentley Motors Ltd and the Bentley marque - 100%
Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. and the Bugatti marque - 100%
Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and the Porsche marque - 100%
Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. - 100%
MAN SE and the MAN marque - 75.03% (controlling shareholder)
Scania AB and the Scania marque - 100%
SEAT, S.A. and the SEAT marque - 100%
Skoda automobilova a.s., Skoda auto and the Skoda marque - 100%
Suzuki Motor Corporation - 19.9% (biggest shareholder)
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles - 100%
Volkswagen Passenger Cars and the VW marque -
100%
Basically, no one can buy any shares into VW group’s subsidiaries because they have full ownership of almost every company within it.

Imagine if GM and Fiat join together, and maybe Renault. It’s going to be like WWI.

That would be splendid! I happen to really like the Kizashi. It was available here with a 6speed manual and AWD. It also happened to look really good.

I seriously hope Mary Barra doesn’t cave in and merge with FCA. IMHO Sergio is a horrible leader and is going to destroy Chrysler Group eventually.

The cold hard business side of me likes Marchionne. I believe consolidation would be good for the industry.

Judging by how low FCA’s subsidiaries score on reliability charts, I’d say Marchionne doesn’t really care about anything other than money. Look through GM’s perspective. A company that scores extremely low in reliability and is getting by on the sales of like 2 brands in North America, wants to come and take control of you. This could be bad for GM.

I don’t think reliability is the problem, well direct problem.
I think he should care a lot about money considering FCA has none. They need capital asap.

My Mk6 GTI has the same door handles as a Porsche Cayenne and the exact same pedals as the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. Cool. VW-AG part sharing FTW!

The question is: who owns 0.45% of Audi...

That is awesome. You could not get the manual with AWD here, but I still want a manual Kizashi anyway.

I looked it up, getting AWD meant you had to have the CVT so I'd stick with FWD for the manual,
