Ah, the Landau top. Once a classy accessory for your Cadillac or Lincoln, now an automotive dinosaur worthy of ridicule that refuses to die.

What are some other “Landau tops” of the world? I’ll nominate the Members Only jacket. No better way to tell the world “I’m out of touch” or “I’m a hipster douche” than to wear one of these.

Met the wife for lunch. Saw a guy with basically those glasses. Hair like a Pidgeotto, beard like a gas monkey, and an outfit like this rich kid (but with no socks). Definnitely set off the hipster alarm.

People who wear glasses 2x the size of their face on purpose. This girl I work with wears hipster glasses that are so heavy that they pinch her nose... shut. Its ridiculous

That's a vinyl top, which is much less offensive than a cloth material landau top.

I haven’t actually noticed that the “modern landay” tops are made of cloth. Luckily they are quite rare.

But how would they suit a classic muscle car? I guess it would look like a vinyl top but with less shine. I’m too tired to imagine if it would look silly or good.
