When it is so obviously not. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my hat, but I’m going to go ahead and say this wasn’t made by BMW, and I’m doubtful the designer has actually seen a BMW before, because this incorporates approximately 2% BMW design language. And by that, I mean it has a roundel and the grille is split.
Don’t get me wrong; it’s an amazing rendering, and I’m loving the GT 90 vibe in the back, it’s just not much of a BMW.
*my training in art and design is limited to looking at cars a lot.

The front looks like a mix between a camaro and mustang with a bad body kit for a bumper.

I agree, the site Boldride are horrible for this, then they just make up the info about the car. They used one of my friend’s thesis projects last year and made up 100% of everything. My friend was so pissed, he didn’t even give them permission. I am all for showing student projects and constructively criticing it. But I want to hear from the student what the car is how t’s powered and why it is the future. not some bs site making some bs claims.

With that hood height, they could just throw in a pair of flat sixes. Get an ACTUAL H-pattern engine.
