I just got back from Charlotte, where I got to meet Whitetrashsteve, and got to chat with him about cars and stuff for a little while. His shop, Classic Soft Trim did a fantastic job installing a full custom leather interior kit for the SUBAROO in under two hours. Anyways, I am beyond thrilled with how the seats turned out, as they look simply fantastic, and make it feel like a whole new car.
Here is a picture of stock Outback Cloth seats, to show how much better this new leather is.
Thanks Steve for working a good deal, and helping to transform my car!

So classy. This is what the seats in some of the new Volvos we are looking at look like. And Volvo knows seats.

$1,018.80 including tax and installation. Doesn’t your C30 already have leather?

Oh wow that’s quite reasonable!
I actually meant my mom’s car there but Ninja mobile likes cutting words out randomly. I have this man-made faux leather cloth hybrid stuff that I do love

They'd probably charge a tad bit more for a 3 row car if your mom still has the pilot. Kinja has been extra buggy today, so I undertsand.

I like the cloth seats in my mom’s Subaru, look like the same ones in the picture you showed. Although I’d rather have leather I quite like the clothe we have.

The Swedes know more than just the seat. 8)

It’s pretty high quality cloth, but it was very easy to stain, plus I overall prefer the feel of leather in a car.

I glad you’re happy with it. Personally, I prefer doing a two-tone if you want to change the interior color. A lot of carmakers are doing that with their higher end models and I think it adds a premium look. The Subaroo definitely looks pretty awesome with the new upholstery. I think the door panels really tied it together.

Thanks again Steve, it seriously feels like a whole different car, many leagues ahead of what it felt like when it had fabric. I really love how the door panels turned out with the black cards, and the tan factory armrests. It was great meeting you.

Looks good! How do aftermarket leather seats hold up in the long run?

From what I’ve heard, they should hold up just as well, if not better than factory leather. Also, they came with a lifetime warranty, so I am not too concerned.
