...if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, we are competing to win. And the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory, it’s not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. I race to win as long as I feel it’s possible. Sometimes you get it wrong? Sure, it’s impossible to get it right all the time.

That was just dumb. Nothing to do with the gap as Senna explained.

The Aston could of easily gave him enough room and beat him to the line. But he didn’t, he/she destroyed two cars, and endangered lives.

I hope they get wrist slappys and then some

And the yellow car could have backed off too. Both drivers wanted to try and win and ended up trying to occupy the same place at the same time. Yeah it was dumb and yeah it’s both of their faults.

the guy in the yellow car had no where to go. He was pushed off before he had a chance to life. He was on the edge of the track, the other driver pushed him off. No different than in nascar and being pushed into a wall. Uncalled for.

I’m no racing expert, but if Yellow hit the brakes at 20sec into the video would they still have crashed ? (Not sarcastic, actually asking)

No. Honestly the aston just jerked the wheel to the left and took both cars out. There was no slight push to move the other driver into the grass, he was hit. I don’t know if the aston driver didn’t see the yellow sin car and attempted to block, or stupidly hit it.

If they wanted to push the yellow sin car off track he could of just veered him off onto the rumble strips then into the grass. But the aston driver turned into him, hard. Crashing them both.

If the yellow sin car would of braked there still would of been a crash, He was already on the rumble strip which is less than ideal for sudden hard braking on entry let alone exit with all the cars weight shifting from rear to front whilst rotating out of a corner. He probably would of lost it braking that hard on the rumbles, they’re slick as shit anyways at the a1 ring. The yellow cars driver was just along for the ride.
