This happened this week, and no, the camera isn’t tilted, the road is. I could get used to doing things like this more often.
Didn’t particularly like this car (M235i X-Drive auto), but there were others, much more M-like, that proved to be just as good as everyone thinks they are.

Is this that music thing at Gingerman Matt Farah was at?

No, this was a BMW M test day for Central-European journalists in Poznan, Poland.

Ah, that must be the same spec car Matt drove. He said the M235i with X-drive was very “get your mom home from the store when it’s snowy”.

Yeah, I concur. Although if said lady has an aching back, a 235i won’t even be good for that...
Kidding aside, of course it’s a lovely car, although i would probably chose it in an RWD manual setup (which is available), but even the X-Drive auto has a lot going for it. Problem was, it had to try and shine in the shadow of an M4 doing the same stunts, and these included high-speed slalom course, with lots of different turns set up by cones - basically auto-x. And in this usage the proper, racetrack-bred M brakes and steering come into their own, and leave the sporty, but still street-spec M235i in the dust. So it’s about perspective, i presume.
