HOT ROD Power Tour 2015, Day 1: Kickoff in Madison, Wisconsin

I can’t even begin to believe how large the turn-out was for the kickoff. I walked 5 miles in total looking at as many cars as I could, but damn was it cool.

We arrived to the gate at 7:45, luckily right in time to be with the first few cars getting in, and not have to wait in the lines going out into the street.

SO MANY CARS. Lots of exploring cars and getting as much free stuff as possible from vendors. During the end of the day, edelbrock was doing trivia in order to win a free copy of the story of Vic Edelbrock and early hot-rodding. I happened to answer right, and won a book! Hurray for encyclopedia automania brain! I have tons of pictures, but will probably only upload the most interesting stuff simply due to how long it takes Kinja to upload photos.

Day 2 is going to be rainy, but hoping to make the most of it, as the main joy of this trip is cruising with everyone else!
