My PC may be a POS, but that’s not gonna stop me!

The vent area at the top looks a little over-smoothed.
Fun blender fact; when using smooth shading, you can select an edge, hit (I think) ctrl-E and select “mark crease” (I think it was that one) and that edge will remain sharp. It helps eliminate that “cartoony” look you can get with smooth shading.

Also, I’m not surprised your PC is giving you trouble. Maybe it’s just because I started modelling for use in games, but good god that seems like a lot of polygons for a coffee cup.

Nope. The real mug is on my desk and the edges at the top of the cup are actually smooth like that.

Dang hippy mugs with their smooth curves. Why, back in my day, A coffee cup had EDGES, dammit!

Heck in my day this was a coffee cup.
If you had guests you used a saucer, if not, well, then you didn’t.

It’s not really. Gran Turismo Cars had
3x as many faces in them five years ago
, and that was a PS3 game. I bet the next GT will have cars that break a few million a piece easily.

Arrghhhh. That’s a mug. Larger capacity without the opt in or out for a saucer.
