Why is is so hard to get rid of a car? I got this fifth avenue and took the engine and trans for my lemons car. Now I need to get rid of it. Every place I call either doesn’t pick up or won’t take it without the engine.

steel is cheap, go fill the back seat up with rotors or something heavy and they might take it. They damn sure wouldnt want that motor for much at a boneyard, just want to make it worth it to send the truck out there

It’s an old chrysler. It’s got so much steel in it!

I have a 62 fury lemons car and an e36 that’s waiting to become a rally car

Maybe you’ll have better luck parting out individual bits? Like the doors, fenders, trim pieces.

You should’ve been in Norway mate. Here you get paid 3500 NOK (440 USD) for a bare shell, you can remove everything that’s bolted on to it as long as you don’t cut anything structural..

Yeah, I know that won’t help you much.. I just felt like rubbing some salt in the wound ;P

Fixed that for you.

Somehow move it to a residential street, and then call to report an abandoned car.

I usually find a guy on Craigslist that will pick up scrap cars. They pay better too.

Put it on the free section of craigslist. I'm sure someone will take it.

Find a free dead V8 motor someone is giving away. Any kind will do.

Put it in the car. Who cares if it’s only held in by one mismatched bolt.

Call and say “it’s got a motor, take it away.”
