Since that seems to be the sore point on my car now (thank you, everyone who points out how terrible they are on a regular basis) I’m picking out some new ones and think I have some good ones picked. But I’ll let you all be the judge on that.

So for headlights I’m thinking these for the main units:

They keep the halos, which I like. They’re also projector units, which are just better. They aren’t terrible chrome and don’t have the attached corner marker, which means I can put some clear OEM markers on.

Just some plain old clear markers work, and no ugly seal. I’m also going to go ahead and get some clear fender markers so they aren’t the only orange thing on the car.

Then to replace the frankly disgusting tail lights, I’m just getting some plain clear units. These have the little lines in them like the OEM units would have, not perfectly smooth like mine are now.

Now, I just need the $270.91 needed to buy all of them...

These look fine, plus no halos which the E36 never had. If you’re gonna go stock go all the way (or at least make it look like OEM):

Just a heads up, based on the picture, those tail lights look they are for the coupe, not the sedan.

It might be Taiwan if they headlights and tail lights came from the same place. Either way, whoever bought them to put on the car needs to be hit. Well, they need to be hit for multiple things they did to it..

That’s the exact setup I’m looking at for my car, I approve. Those Taiwanese one piece headlights you have suck.
