Yknow, it didn’t taste terrible. Just horribly overpriced. Youd think they could muster up for free WiFi with that price but nope. I like JFK better in that sense but LGA is just so close to my apartment.

I got Chinese food at 7 am going thru Miami on a layover. Boy was that a mistake. We had just taken off and I made a run for the bathroom. One of the flight attendants got up and started with regulations blah blah get back to your seat. I dodged past her and was able to get out ‘ its not gunna wait’ as I sprinted away with just second to spare before the assplosion erupted. so good luck with that one. She looked a bit concerned when I got out.

Because it’s the airport and you can’t go anywhere else, so fuck you, that’s why. Same goes for the WiFi. Got a captive audience, so they might as well charge you $10/day to use it- what else are you going to do on a 6 hour layover? Read a book? HAH!

This is one of the few things that’s awesome about the Pittsburgh airport- there’s a county law in place that forbids any vendor from charging any more at the airport than they do in the city. So of course the prices are marked up to match the most expensive city location of any restaurant/store, but it’s not totally outrageous. For example a breakfast that’d cost me $6 at my local McDonald’s might run me $8 at the airport.

They also have free WiFi but I swear there’s like one router for the entire airport. Signal freaking sucks and when you actually can connect to it it’s slower than 3G wireless.

I flew into there from Minneapolis about a month ago and it was freezing in there. Granted it was 29 outside but god damn. Plus I had to buy Skittles and Dr. Pepper and it was $14, well plus what my mom got.

The airport at LaGuardia has been redone in favor of Delta owned product creation. All restaurants are generic versions of what was there before and they change more. JFK and Newark are all going in that direction as well as a way for hte actual airline to make more money on the backside.
