Nice! Rust shouldn’t be an issue on these, they sorted that back in the 80s. Pretty much anything 75 onwards is no different from anything else.

With the T-Spark there’s a couple of things with the timing belt that should be watched out for. Should be sorted on all cars by now, but I don’t think it’s one to be pushing the service intervals on. If it says change at 120k, change it at 120k.

I can’t remember whether it’s on the same platform as my 156 or whether it’s on the earlier 155 platform.

Either way, I’ve dailied my 156 V6 for years now and the only thing that’s provided me grief is the German-manufactured Bosch MAF sensor.

I’d love to hear about your experiences with it, always liked this gen GTV (and 156) and they are very reasonably priced.
