I only own 1 watch, but it’s the only one anyone needs. When I got mine, it was about $20 cheaper.

I own a citizen eco drive and a nautical divers watch. more than enough for any occasion...

...besides those times when they aren't. Then I go to my watch-collecting stepdad

...and borrow an IWC Schaffhausen! I didn't know how much it cost until after the 2nd dance I wore it to. God am I glad I didn't lose it! :P

I love the variety of your collection. What kind are:

One on the top right, Orange band, black face and case w/ orange numbers

Center, red band, white face, w/ black(?) numbers

The rest of the back row

Far left center, red band and white face

Thanks in advance. God do I love some neat watches.

How do you like it? Is the battery life prohibitive?

It’s decent, even before you factor in the price. It’s not like Android Wear or the Apple Watch in that you can text or call or send emails from it; it’s just for displaying notifications, or if someone calls you, you can pick up the call, but you need to take out your phone to talk. Battery life is great, considering that in a world where devices should be charged every day, this can last from 2-4 days.

I don’t know whether this occurs on Android too, but at least for my iPhone 6+ on iOS 8.3, the connection causes my phone battery to drain. On iOS 8.2 it didn’t drain, so maybe the Pebble software isn’t quite supported for 8.3.

In the end, I’d suggest that if you do have the $199 (or sometimes $149 if on sale) and are looking for a smart watch, buy this one. It’s simple to use, and looks great. If you want a color screen Pebble, wait for the upcoming Pebble Time. My only gripe (not the watch’s fault) is that way too many people ask if you have the Apple Watch. It gets tiring.

That all makes so much sense! Thank you for the info. The color one sounds even better.

When people ask if I have an iPhone or whatever, I usually reply with: “No, I have a real phone, not an iPhone.” Shuts them up about what’s better, etc. because it’s all come down to taste and comfortability and compatibility with all of our connected devices.

Good looking watch and I like the fact it has a proper band and not those rubber ones that catch arm air.

You’re definitely welcome. If you’ve got any more questions then feel free to ask.

Phone-wise, I prefer to have an iPhone, but mainly because I like the easy way out. I’m sure Android is great, but I’m not ready to get over the learning curve of Android.

The band is pretty good. The leather is high-quality, but the inside (tan leather) gets dirty quickly. If you don’t like leather then there’s a steel band for $20 by Pebble.

Also Not pictured above I have a Swatch Sistem51. I got it on its US launch day. Its the most interesting movement I own. It is fully automatic and has only 51 moving parts.
