It’s still in Early Access on Steam, but it looks like it’s back to it’s rally roots (not that Monster Energy Gymkhana stuff (though, I did like it a lot)). It doesn’t seem to have Multiplayer yet though.
According to the Steam Page theres, Team Managment modes, simulation handling, and League Support.
Totally didn’t expect it just to come out.

I might be $30 down this afternoon... Hopefully the stages are more than two miles each this time.

Let me know how it is, especially how long the stages are. Two-mile stages don’t really capture the essence of rally.

How many cars are there? Does it have Group B? Does it have some makes I haven’t heard of?

Damn, it’s been years since the consoles got a quality rally sim

17 cars, no word on group B, but they said they’ll be adding more cars and more classes throughout the year.

I hope this is more like the original DiRT than the more recent ones, although I did enjoy 2.

No obligatory Gymkhana stages? YEAAAAAAH!!!!
I loved DiRT 3, but I hated every damn nanosecond of Gymkhana stages

I have a feeling that it will come out on consoles eventually. Usually PC sim racers are a lot more hardcore about their racing than the consoles, so this seems to be a beta test of sort, with a lot more simracers giving feedback.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FINALLY

Played for about 3 hours last night. Love it. Definitely a sim, don’t play it like you would the old dirt games. Driving on gravel feels properly loose and fun as hell. Unfortunately there is a bug lots of people are encountering where the co-driver is mute, and I am one of these people :(
It’s a ton of fun with my wheel setup, no H-Shifter support yet though so I’ve got a rubber band around the stick so I can use 4th gear as the handbrake.
Once I get the co-driver bug fixed maybe I can finish a stage without going into the trees at least once
