Well done by Kris. This rally is as much about staying away from trouble as it is about speed, and he was the driver that managed to drive the fastest while staying out of trouble.
A good road-position and his teammate’s problems on SS2 surely helped as well.

Yeah, what was interesting is the vast amount of technical difficulties the drivers had: VW had engine trouble, Kris had too at some point...

Yeah he coasted through a watersplash at one point, but unlike Mads he managed to get it started up in stage mode and not safety mode. Also he didn’t have a handbrake at SS2, almost forgot.
