Hi Oppo. It’s been about a year since I last posted, during which I moved home to NZ and bought this. A 1987 E30 325i. Its got the proper transmission and its damn near perfect (with almost immaculate houndstooth interior). The wheels aren’t to my taste, but they had brand new tyres. They’ll be gone as soon as the right set of Basket Weaves comes up. If any Kiwi Opponauts know of anything basketweavish in a 16” or 17”, let me know.

Also, its ANZAC day here. In fact, its the centenary of the Gallipoli landings, so I was up early for the dawn service, and now plan on going for a hoon in honour of those that died on that beach.

basketweaves go for crazy money in the US, I am hoping mine don’t get stolen...

I want basketweaves for my 540i too, which are even more $$$. I regularly see sets for $900.

The guy I bought it from does a fairly brisk trade in E30s and reckons he can get Basketweaves pretty easily, but not cheaply. I’m anticipating $NZ1.5-2K then rubber on top of that.
