Suspension assembly, maybe looking at a friend’s injection system/electrics for gremlins (PowerStroke). Don’t really know yet.

The usual - Find a way to annoy someone, sit on the couch. Quite often this can be accomplished at the same time. I also like to sleep since I don’t get much sleep during the week.

Have a bad stumble in my 5.0 mustang (pushrod) at 2000rpms I need to figure out, So far replaced the entire ignition system, hoping a new EGR valve will fix it then after that I have a set of 13” Baer Brakes to install.

sounds fun... not so much the gremlins though. Electricity is my career and I still hate tracking down gremlins. That is pretty much what I am doing on my car now as you can probably tell from the diagrams. I also have rear brakes to do on a subaru.

ouch. Gotta hate it when you spend money and it doesn’t fix the problem. So far I haven’t spent any money on my issue, but my damned car won’t start. Is yours throwing any misfire codes? err, what year is it? I just realized 5.0 could be several very different mustangs.

It’s a 1995 5.0, The bastard stepchild of them all. My distributor was going bad so replacing that did fix the issues i was having above 2000 rpms, also did the ignition module, coil, plug wires at the same time. After this a lot of drivablity cleared up i thought i was good. Until this bucking started at 1500-2000rpms. I ran a several tests with a OBD1 Tester and the only code i got was for a Spout Circuit short. The issue is the car runs fine when i turn it on the first time for the day, but if start it again before it fully cools down it starts bucking at 2000 rpms under light load. Runs like a Champ after that and at WOT. Why i’m replacing the EGR???It’s a good question and it’s because I’m out of ideas. While I’m there i’ll also be looking for a short going to the spout connector but I’ve done that several times with no luck.

Nothing too special. Flew into Singapore late last night. Going to show my wife around town and we fly into Phuket Thailand mid afternoon tomorrow. Ya know, normal staff.

I'm kidding, it is going to be an amazing two weeks!!!

good luck man. Sounds like the headache I’m having with my BMW. I checked the crank and cam sensors, both good. I checked fuel and spark. Plugs are wet and it sparks. I’ve gotten some ideas I’m going to try tomorrow. Maybe give the ECU a better ground to help out the spark, and make sure I don’t have any vacuum leaks. I’ll get it started tomorrow. I hope.

You guys all make me sad. I work 10 hours every Saturday, so my weekends are meh. (Though we did just get in another manual V6 F-Type, looking forward to taking that for a spin)

I was planning to clean my car this weekend.

I’d be happy with just getting the salt out of the carpet underneath the door sill trim panels though.

That kind of job starts simply enough but always seems to find a way of chewing up an entire day so I may just leave it at that.
