The editor of our local BMW Club chapter magazine asked me if I wanted to write an article for the magazine... obviously car related. I decided to share some of my thoughts about budget restorations based on my current experiences with an old BMW E21. It’s been a long time since I’ve sat down to write anything, filling pages isn’t so hard, but ending up with something worth reading is hard work lol...definitely giving props to the people who do it for a living!

This was mine, an ‘83 320i. This pic is from a Boston Chapter BMW CCA autocross, probably back in 1999 or so. I started helping the autocross chair at the time write articles for the Bimmer about our events. Next thing I knew, I was the Bimmer editor! I did that for a year and a half, then went back to playing with cars. But that’s how I got started writing about cars. Now, here I am.
