Why the fuck does life have to be so upside down and difficult? I’m a pretty smart guy. Why. The. Fuck. Cant. I. Figure. Out. The. Answer? I FUCKING HATE NOT KNOWING THE ANSWER. And I’m beginning to feel that way every day!

If your life is upside down... maybe a visit to Australia would fix some things for ya?

If you buy the WolframAlpha mobile app, it will give you step-by-step solutions for the one time purchase, as opposed to a monthly subscription paid to wolframalpha.com

Anything you want to talk about? Everybody goes through phases like this in their lives. Hell I went through it like 4 years ago I was really in bad shape mentally and felt like nothing was going right but I put my head down and kept going like a defensive lineman and things started working out for me.

I haven’t heard from the guy since he called me. He knows he dun fucked up. At this point he either needs to stick to his story or admit he was wrong and give me the job.

If life was easy we wouldn't have cheat codes

My job (car sales) is taking up all my time, yet I’m barely making enough to pay my bills. I hardly get any time with my wife anymore, with little or no return. I’m educated, I’m a decent guy. Why are tthings like this? I really don’t know what my next move should be.

Did you forget a zero, or are you giving the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything? Cause honestly, both seem like valid responses.

I’ve always considered drugs to be the cheat codes for life.
Booze = Invincibility
Weed = Slo-Mo
Mushrooms = Free Level Up
Coke = Big Head Mode
etc.

it would definitely be both if 42 is the answer to everything

Drugs are powerups. EDUCATION IS THE CHEAT CODE

Depends on the drug. I’ve learned more from psychedlics than I’ve ever learned in a classroom. Except calculus, of course. The only integrating you’re gonna do on acid is integrating your soul with the universe.

The only advice I can give is: Step back, take a breath. Feeling like you aren’t in control is hard, and frustrating as hell. It’s natural to feel frustrated and perhaps a bit helpless. But, the world is a big, complicated place, and sometimes trying to have all the answers is just going to drive you mad. It seems like, apart from the totally legit stress you are feeling, things are okay. Take heart in the good things, and try to let the tension of uncertainty roll off you. Letting it get to you will only make reacting to the unknown even harder. It may turn out that this setback is a good thing, and you’ll come out of it better than you expected.
You can do the thing. Don’t let yourself get in your way. Go with your gut, keep trying, and it will work out, even if in ways you didn’t quite expect.

Damn I thought that other job was coming through but I just read your other post about the sketchy shit they are trying to pull. I suggest contacting your former co-worker who helped start the company up and ask him directly whether or not this job is yours. If he gives you some vague answer then you’ll know it’s not a done deal.
The whole “find us more clients” I would’ve gave them the “yeah I’ll see what I can do” waited a week and called them back asking if you were going to get the job or not.
Financial strain can be tough, maybe on one of your off days you can do a lunch date followed by a nice walk/sit somewhere scenic. Check for free shit happening in your area, there might be some sort of festival or live music event that you can get in for cheap or free.
Spending time with her, good quality time not just sexy sexy time, is important because she’s going to be the one that keeps you stable when you’re dealing with a lot of shit. That’s how I feel about my girl, she’s my rock when shit is getting choppy and I’m stressed with work or school so a nice all day date can be great.
Sometimes you go through some shit and then things start coming on the up and up. I have a theory, when shit is going really, REALLY good start preparing for the worst because that’s when life throws you a curveball. Whether it’s an unexpected expense, a big argument with someone you care about, or a fuckin earthquake just be on point, it never fails. When shit is going really badly just know soon you’re going to start hitting a bunch of strokes of good luck soon so keep your eyes open for job opportunities, hell go play a scratch off ticket you might end up winning some money.

The WolframAlpha app was available for free from Amazon over the weekend, getting answers for free has never been better.

Welcome to the club. I’m a drafter by day and a drafter by night. Just make enough to cover the bills. That’s y I’m trying to get a new job. Getting ahead seems to be fairly difficult.

Aside from my awful comma usage, I meant every bit of it.
