I want to build this kind of thing. I shall make it wide enough to fit two entrants side by side, but still made of chrome-plated steel or something much smoother. Oh, and with two routes, longest and fastest of which is 8 kilometers.
My bike is ready.

so you want a smooth surface and to ride your bike on it?
That sounds like suicide to me. A little moisture and you are going to be in the bushes at a high rate of speed

Oh, that? I guess I should recalculate a few things. I just meant to do something like a bobsled track, but for bikes and street luges.

ah then you want at least concrete. Build the shell out of whatever you want but you want some grip on the inside for sure!

Most ski resorts have something like this for the summer, called the Alpine slide or similar. They are pretty fun, but your not pushing it hard enough unless you come off the track
