After some confusion with the breeder, it turns out that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! wasn’t actually available. Not wanting to forgo the hoglyfe altogether, she picked up this little guy instead! He’s six months old, and he’s even cuter than than the other one if you ask me!

He is a cutie :) who is this breeder, if you don’t mind me asking? Sounds potentially sketchy (on their part) to have such a misunderstanding with their animals.
Also tell her to look up Hedgehogs Anonymous on Facebook, it’s a good group :)

Aw, looks cute and sharp.
Are the spines as cactus like as they look?

The breeder is Motor City Hedgehogs . Honestly it really wasn’t their fault—my girlfriend jumped the gun and sent the payment online, then read that you’re supposed to call and reserve your hog before paying. My girlfriend left a message explaining what she’d done and that she’d still like him if he was available. Turns out they had left for vacation the day before and somebody else had already reserved him, but they hadn’t updated the website yet.
They got back from vacation yesterday and called her to explain the situation. They felt bad that they hadn’t updated the website so they actually let her have this little guy for a reduced price. Seems like they handled the situation fairly, granted I’m hearing all of this second hand here in France.
I’ll definitely tell her to look up that group though, good tip!

Not when they’re relaxed. If the hedgie isn’t startled or trying to protect itself, they lay fairly flat and you can hold them or pet them (as long as you’re not petting toward the points). If something scares them though, they quill up and boy are they sharp! You can see in the picture below that when they do that, the spines start sticking straight out, and the hog actually stiffens them, so they become much more cactus–like.

Why you change the E to an S? You need more epsilon and less sigma to be E Julius. Unless you have become S Julius. Or S Julims what with the mu there, though that is ignoring the integral sign which doesn’t really correspond to a letter.
In more on topic rambling, cool hedgehog.

Ha! That's what the echidna does as well, makes sense if your covered in spikes. That's awesome.
