The California T is infinitely prettier than that god-awful 488 GTB.

The 488’s design may be busy, but on no planet does a front-engined, 550 horse, 3600 pound cruiser best a mid-engined, 660 horse, 3200 pound spiritual successor to the 288 GTO. It runs a 10.4 quarter mile stock!
And, as with the C7, a darker color mutes some of the visual noise:

10.4 quarter mile?! I’ll believe it when someone besides Ferrari says it.

It’s reasonable and a couple of online calculators put it in the 10.4-10.5 range (used 3250 lbs, 660 bhp, 560 whp). Z06 did 11.0 with almost 300 extra pounds and the engine in front, so it’s in the ballpark.

Grimey, you’re crazy. I love you, but you’re crazy.

its probably true.
maybe it was just a passing mood but the front engine cruiser vibe of the california and its more subdued looks and possible comfort and convertibleness made more sense at the time.

I dig the CA from the angle posted. The rear still throws me off. It’s kind of big and lumpy. I normally don’t mind that (ifyouknowwhatImean) but in this case, it’s a bit weird.
