Managed to end up only spending £7.50 cash on it so I upgraded. Now to wait for the 50gb(!) download to finish.

Indeed it is, although technically I spent £27.50, then sold my old PS3 copy for £5 then used a £15 gift voucher I got. £27.50 would have still been much less than market price though.

Right now GTA V and Halo MCC are battling it out to see which can be the biggest game on my Xbox One.

It’s a good thing I have unlimited broadband.

I already have one on the PS3 version, which I think will transfer over. No ski racks on it yet though, I’ll have to fix that.

I have unlimited too, but it’s only 15mb/s so downloading is a slow process...

It will transfer over, I was very relived because I just bought a Ps4 about a month ago and I was kinda bummed that I would lose all my GTA online stuff. But it transfers over so i didn’t have to lose everything.

My philosophy is all gaming stuff can be awesome and to gather the stuff you like the most. That’s why I have a Yellow Game Boy Colour next to my PS4.

Did all your stuff, garage, clothes, apartments, weapons etc. all make it over seamlessly?

I’m all about getting this game on the XBone... when it’s dirt cheap.

I know I’m on the odds-against side here, and it’s likely to be published, but it’s been delayed several times now and no retailer or video game site has a gold date even now. Ain’t looking good.

May 8th for me in the UK. After all the delays, this damn game better be the greatest racing game of all time that said my time in the alpha and beta doesn’t inspire confidence especially since the latest previews say that the AI is still garbage something I found out over a year ago.

I downloaded GTA V on PC in about 3 hours. It helps when you’re downloading from Steam and not Sony’s hideously slow servers. I have a very fast connection which is meaningless when the download is capped by Sony.

I managed to speed it up by putting the PS4 into rest mode (which for some strange reason doubles speed) it took about 17 hours in the end.
