Made it out to C&C again this past Saturday and saw some pretty sweet cars, but I didn’t get to stay long and didn’t take many pictures because I was hungover and my hands were full double-fisting some coffee (O_O)
An LFA!!! I never thought anyone in Cincy would have one
A Jaguar XJ 13 replica! I’m not 100% sure what the story is on this beauty, but it sure was pretty
It’s actually a fiberglass body with fake rivets to give it the look of the real deal.
And those are the only cars I apparently took any pics of. There was some other nice exotics including a Ferrari F430 and a Lamborghini Aventador. Also there was a pretty ridiculous wide-body Supra with a massive turbo that had a boost pipe big enough for me to put my leg in.

if it was more than a 5-10 minute drive for me to get there I probably wouldn’t have gone haha. It’s about the only thing that I’ll get up at 8am on a Saturday for while hungover.
I was pretty tempted to go find the guy revving the nuts off his straight-piped RX-8 and give him swift kick in the nuts. That was the last thing you want to listen to when you’ve got a headache.

Was the Supra RHD? If so, the guy actually works in the same office I do. IIRC, it makes over 1500 HP at the wheels; we strapped it to a portable dyno at one of the annual company car shows, and it made something like 800 WHP on his “half-power” ECU map.

as a matter of fact it was. It also had two huge nitrous bottles in the trunk. But holy hell thats a lot of power. I’ve ridden in a 600 hp Supra before and that was terrifyingly fast, I can’t imagine what 1500 HP feels like

Car related? Cars & Coffee is at Fuel Coffee on Riverside drive every Saturday from 8am-noon. Both Cincy SCCA and Western Ohio Region SCCA have monthly Autocross events if you’re interested.
Non-car related, Red’s games are always fun and there’s usually good live music or something going on in OTR. Also there’s Bunbury Music festival June 5-7th. Plenty of Breweries to check out too.

For real? dang I would love to see it. Next time I’m at C&C I’m going to try and convince some of these guys with exotic cars to come out to an autocross event

I’m super stoked they have a local scca, we will eventually be living in the city again once the army is done with me, and I was hoping to find some autocross.
already going to a reds game this week, but I might try and make the c&c while we are home.

The WOR SCCA is more Dayton based but they run at Kil Kare speedway in Xenia and the Cincy SCCA guys usually run at Willmington. I almost forgot, there’s also the Miami Valley Sports Car Club. They’re a NASA group and they hold Autocross events too. So if you want you can race 3 weekends out of every month. I went to the first Cincy SCCA event this past Sunday and I’m going to the WOR SCCA event this upcoming Sunday.
Check out Full-Throttle Karting too if you get a chance, it’s a blast!

Hell yea that’s way more than I thought. I don’t feel as dumb planning on importing an old M or Skyline or Silvia or literally anything at this point When I leave Germany.
