Oil change and tire rotation. Part of me enjoys not crawling around in the dirt to change oil but once the warranty is gone I’ll be back to doing it. Takes so long. Stuck watching good morning America.
Fun things. The guy sitting across from me came in for tires. They didn’t have his size or something. His face when the lady told him was priceless. It was half blank, half I’m gonna kill everyone.
One lady wouldn't sit down. She was acting like it was a quick lube place and she'd be out in 10-15 minutes.

are you saying doing it yourself takes so long, or the shop takes so long? Doing it myself takes maybe 10 minutes. With air filter change as well.

Dealer takes too long. I usually drain my oil for about 20 minutes or sometimes more if I get caught up doing other things. Gets the slow gunk out. But if I had a lift and air tools I could get what they do done in under 30 mins. I know I'm not the only car in there but it's been over 1 1/2 hours right now.

wow, thats brutal. Maybe next time, bring them some coffee and donuts to get them moving. I hear mechanics aren’t above a little food bribery.

They already have free coffee and donuts. The lady sitting across from me brought them chick fil a. Doesn't seem to speed hers up. Almost done. They're doing something with my mat (the tab broke) just under 2 hours

I’ve used it to change my car’s oil over a lunch break at work in the middle of a parking lot. Top-side oil filter helps.
