...you’re looking for an example online of a car you saw, and find the actual car you saw.
I saw an E36 convertible with a roll bar today, something I don’t think I’ve seen before. I did a GIS to try to see how unusual this combination was, and stumbled upon the actual car.
I’m almost positive this is it. The color (Morea Green Metallic?) seems correct, as do the gray bumpers. The biggest evidence, however, is that the car pictured was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in 2012 roughly 15 miles away from where I saw it today. That doesn’t confirm anything, however, that does make it seem a lot more likely.
At any rate, this has been an odd experience.

Yep. Saw a white Supra TT one time in San Francisco and found it later online being sold.

I had this happen before. I had this awesome 911 park next to me once while I was at practice.
A few months later, I thought about how many 911 Turbos I’d seen, and went online to see if there were any for sale near me. And low and behold.

I saw a P1 once and about a month later it was up for sale. It still is for sale to this day.

Or when you see a car you used to own on CL, and it still has some mod, or lazy repair you did. lol happened to me with my 99 Civic Ex. I knew it was mine because it had black housing headlights, and a “I heart my Honda” sticker on the trim under the Sony Xplode headunit that I poorly installed. hey gimme a break I was 18.
