I turn them over too quickly to really get appreciable miles on them. I did 40K in my Scirocco 16V and that is the tops

~216k miles on ‘91 Civic DX hatch 5spd. Bought with 224k, up to 440 now. Is no longer a DD but it gets a 100 mile round trip every week to keep it up.

In one shot? Went Seattle to Kansas City only stopping for food/gas/piss. About 24 hours/1800 miles.

114k. In an Odyssey. That I didn’t drive. Ever. But you weren’t specific. So I win.

I’ve never owned any individual car for more than four years... But I put 70k on a civic over a few years.

60k in a Dodge Neon.

Teaches you to love whatever car you get next, because it’s not a Neon.

Mostly. I liked that car, it was a good drive, and returned decent gas mileage, but had lots of quirks that I wouldn’t say were positives, not at all. But you can’t change the past, so it taught me to value and pursue what I really want, and that’s why I have the current stable.

Bought my GTO 7 years ago with 33k, and I’m at 133k now. This far surpasses my previous cars which I had for between 8-20k miles apiece.

My brother had a ‘96 Neon and hated it. He drove it for 120k miles, with a few patches of car paint yet to fall off. He sold it long ago, but I still saw it driving in downtown Seattle just last month! I was impressed.

215k and change. On a 1990 BMW 525i (m20, Aisin auto) that already had 201k on it.

spun 2 main bearing at around 416k. It was suuuuper clean cosmetically with Alpina B10 kit. Absolutely clean as hell inside and out. Everthing worked and not even a rock chip on in. Interior was flawless. Couldn’t get an engine in it and had no money. Junk yard gave me $125 bucks to tow it away

I had a 2001 Hyundai Accent that I bought it in 2005 with 39k and working as a courier I got rid of it 18 months later with 150k on the clock.

207,000 on a 2002 Honda Odyssey. Bought it with 43,000 on it. Honestly, I kept it about 50,000 too long. Those last miles were expensive.

I put about 120k on a Ford Probe GT that had 20k on it when I bought it. The little 2.5l Mazda V6 was pretty low maintenance only requiring a water pump, ignition module as well as the scheduled replacement of the timing belt.

Personal car only like 30k miles I don’t keep them long. But I’ve burned through 5 company vehicles in the last 10 years all get traded out around 120k. Pick them up typically with 5-10 miles and 2 years later they get taken to the auction with 110-140k. I’m on course for a 65k mile year this year June to June.

Bought my first Vanagon with 80K, and put another 170K on it.

Mrs McMike has 150K on the car she bought new in 2003.

166k on a 2005 Pathfinder, and counting. Tired of it, but it's been bulletproof - doesn't even use any oil at this point. Also have 102k on an e46 convertible as well - it's been just as reliable.

Ouch. I think the worst part of having a high mileage car is that it's going to be worth much more to you than anyone else, because you know everything there is to know about it. You got your money's worth out of it though, so at least there's that.

88k kms (55k miles) on an 05 Grand Am. I really enjoyed that card.

21k kms (13k miles) on a 2014 Cruze.
