You have their mailing address. Find them and shove the instrument cluster forcefully inside an orifice of your choosing.

It’s in Texas and an actual eBay store some I’m not sure who to aim for. We have some Texan Oppos here that want to carry out some justice right?

If the car is off, the fuel reads empty. I wish all cars had that.

Your fuel says 0 because of the cold fusion nuclear reactor built into it so your car doesn’t need gasoline anymore. And this also lead to a performance improvement which is why you’re doing 21 mph even before you get into the car. And the temp guage is at cold because ‘cold fusion’...

...explains my check engine light. Chrysler never should have gotten into the cold fusion game.

Hey nFamousCJ. Not-infamous CJ here.
With the fuel gauge, I wonder if it’s an issue with something other than the gauge; ditto speedometer. Is there any type of calibration that has to be done on the senders, or is it just supposed to plug right in?
As for auto-stick... what’s the issue here?
If it’s clearly the wrong (or a bad) gauge, shouldn’t eBay’s buyer protection cover you? (also: always pay with a credit card so you can file a claim through them if there’s a problem - they’re pretty supportive of buyers who get hosed - I’ve used it myself before)

We need an army of Oppo CJ’s
for fuel/speed its the gauge since my old dash shows proper fuel/speed once I throw it in. (my current dash is actually a junk yard special since I used it for my original autostick conversion)
For autostick the ‘new’ dash should read PRND1234 since it’ll light up your current gear as you shift - this one just gives you PRDNL3 which is what normal automatic transmissions use (if I remember corrently only the Sebring limited/gtc models and stratus R/T’s had autostick)
I sent off a notice to the seller and let them know about the issues and fact that it’s the wrong dash type, there’s issue with the bulbs as well - I wouldn’t care cause I can swap bulbs but they advertised it as autostick and have blah blah blah warranty and checks.

UGH. Yup, I see what you mean about the auto-stick gauge requirement now.
I know I’m a bit OCD about details ( http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/ocd-about-beau… ) and I have to accept that friends and family may not be.
When I’m paying someone money, I expect them to fracking get it right, the first time, or fix it quickly with an apology for inconveniencing me.
What a piss off. Finger’s crossed they make it right for you without the hassle of dealing with an eBay or credit card claim.

On another note, I love white gauge faces, they work on specific cars.

Mine were originally black with green light but I’m glad they’ve been swapped out for white and blue light

Great combo. Blue and red are best on the eyes at night in my opinion.

I actually though about running a pair of LED strips throughout, red and blue on a relay so they can switch from day to night just for that reason

That’s a really good idea. That wouldn't be so difficult either.

And I think if I power them directly off the the bulb tap they’ll retain dimmer functionality too. I may need to draw up some schematics (oh and the eBay store gave me a refund and said to keep this dash so I’ll use it as a guinea pig)

Sounds like a solid plan. LEDs are low voltage so you ovbiously won’t have to worry about brightness. Depends on the LED, but most have dimmer capabilities. Love LED backlighting.

The film in the dash is actually blue and the lights white... So I wonder how the red would light through that

Probably would look like a purple color if you want that
