I was sure the tank in my car was going in permanently for the last time so I put lock washers between the strap and nut to make sure it didn’t get undone while I drive. But turns out in the reinstallation process I pinched the vent line. So now I’m trying to lower the tank again and the nut is NOT budging I must of put 200lbs of force on it( had most of my weight in it) and the fucking nut will not budge.
Looks like this will be a head scratcher. Now I have no idea whatsoever how I will get this fixed now.

I anti-seized my threads and used a prevailing torque nut

Methinks the nut hath jamm’t upon the threads. May need to wedge that nut around with a screwdriver and a hammer, depending on your available banging room. Or
oh yeah, gas tank. Careful.

“Removing stuff” (stickers, nuts, washers, screws) is my superpower. Unfortunately, flight isn’t so I’ll have to give you advice via internet, not in person.
Is this a nut over top of a lock washer? In that case, this isn’t a hard fix: Dremel the nut off, carefully.
If it’s a bolt head sticking up, cutting it just leaves you with a headless bolt... no good.
Got an impact driver, or can you borrow one? It often shocks me how well these will free up a frozen nut or bolt.

I have an impact but because the bolts are 3” long the socket won’t reach the nut the bolt hits the bottom of the socket before I reach the nut.

If you have room, I’d put a pole on the end of the socket (or something to lengthen it) to increase your leverage.

Can you trim the extra bit of bolt off with a Drexel? You need to be super careful, as bursting in to flames isn't very fun.

Buy an extra long socket or cut a section of bolt off. That’s all I got.
