Apparently, Windows 10 didn’t like the fact that my laptop was set on Legacy mode and not UEFI. Had to delete and reinstall 8.1.
Thank God most of my important data is stored on a separate (dual) drive.

I haven't had a problem not using UEFI yet, but my install is only three days old.

Password issue + Knoppix = no password issue?

Lol, no hostilities here. As for the login issue, it wasn’t password or OS related. It’s a bug in the pre-release IE11 that I’m working on with Kinja Help (I’m actually a beta tester for Kinja desktop and mobile)
I'm hoping I can get build 10049 to install correctly soon so I can test Kinja on Project Spartan :)

I’ve got a VM build that I have been beta testing for Microsoft for a few weeks now. Don’t use it much. That is cool about the Kinja beta testing though. But it seems they probably don;t listen to you much....

Actually I have good rapport with a number of the techs, and have been quite beneficial in helping to fix a good number of previous issues :3

Oh, be careful with sensitive data on 10. It has a keylogger in it. So if you’re thinking of doing anything incriminating, don’t.

Lol. Microsoft at this point is well used to my actions online and offline. I mean I am using their pre-release software on my computer, phones and Xbox. This "keylogger" everyone's shitting their pants about is not anything worrisome
