After my Saab and 505 picture from a week ago, this shows up in the Facebook group all of us nutty Peugeot drivers use to quarantine our oddness from normal people. Goddamn SPG's are coming for blood

I want bad.
Can't find an SPG for the life of me. It's like they all disappeared when I finally got the cash.

Come to Seattle - we have gobs of them. SO many Viggens, too. Most are rust-free, too, despite the constant drizzle because we never have to salt anything.

That's awesome, but what the hell. Did they migrate over there for the winter?
Hmm... cross country road trip...

The PacNW's Saab enclave is huge and passionate. People like to talk about the most "Seattle" cars being Subarus, but I think that 9-3s are more common.

I did not know that. And I just did a quick CL search... Goodness. Sooo many of them...

I know! There was someone selling a brand new as you can get 9-5 a couple months back for $12,500. I was so seriously considering checking it out. Only had 20,000 miles on it and a complete service history at Scanwest. Apparently it was one of the last ones brought over here, may have even been one of the auction lots from the liquidation. No issues, according to the seller, but they said that they were tired of Saab service fees... so they were selling their car for like 1/4 of list price.
I'm upset that I didn't get it.

Looks like I’ve got to get a Peugeot if I want to find the SPG I really want, then. Ok.

Re: You are killing me.
Man, a Peugeot 505 Renault too, that’s a rare beast!
There’s a beat to shit automatic 405S up locally here that comes with an Mi16 parts car.

Bad. Might not be rusty, at least.

beat, not even all the rims match on the Mi. Too bad, too much money for a DL with dubious mi parts to be had

ha I have had a few classic 900’s and an early 9000 hatch and a later 9000CDE sedan. Love them to death, but they all rotted in the wrong places up here, or got beat to within an inch of it. Too bad. They take alot of abuse but need to be looked after. Always was happy with mine though. This will be my 4th 505 and I feel the same way about those
