My Hella 500FF Lights came today. I'm going to be mounting them on the pushbar I am having a friend custom-fab for my Ranger.
One thing I'm realizing: Although I have a basic knowledge of how to wire them, I don't think Hella has ever seen a regular wiring harness. Maybe because they aren't an American company, but the colors make little sense. Black is power, blue is ground? What?
Also. There's a ton of wire in the harness the kit comes with. Which I suppose is better than not enough, but I'm sure I'll be trimming some of it out. I plan to just use the kit's harness originally because it's all pretty inclusive, and I don't even know how well the lights will work so I don't want to make my own harness just yet.
I'm really excited for the bar and the lights. I'll have to upload some pics when it's all said and done.
End note: I now need a new headlight bulb because I must have knocked out the low beam while figuring out how I'm going to wire this mess.

Our fog light hookups are on the left and right just inside the front bumper. You cant miss em. Just splice it in there

These are going on the high beams, not the fogs. So I'm gonna splice em off the driver side high beam to supply power to the relay or however the diagram says.
