Plans are slowly going into place to get our Alfa Romeo Spider back on the road. After three years in our garage, and nearly eight years of not moving, it's going to be fixed up and plated this summer, knock on wood. Which makes me thrilled, because what's better than having a fun Italian sports car to drive in the summer?

I have a stupid question for you. Since Fiat/Alfa are back in business in the US, has this made old parts availablilty improve any at all?

Yup. 1991. Identical to the one pictured above, only without the four visible lug nuts.

Dunno. I don't think it's had much affect, at least not yet.

Thanks! It's filthy right now, but nothing a good wash can't fix!

Very cool. Document all the break downs that will likely occur along the way!

I'm sure it'll polish up well. I have a real soft spot for these Alfas, hopefully I'll be able to buy one as a weekend car one day.
