On Saturday I took my nephew (who is five and autistic) to Charlotte AutoFair. We drank delicious but overpriced lemonade and had a great time. Here are a few dozen photos:
I don't know why I love the AMC Gremlin but this one is pretty awesome.
This was the car I wanted in high school. Dark-colored LX 5.0 5 speed convertible with a luggage rack on the trunk lid. I still kind of want one.
There's a lot going on with that Fury wagon but I like it.
A Honda N600 pickup. let me reiterate: A HONDA N600 PICKUP
Apparently wet-sanding the rust and clearcoating it is a thing now.
The Cosworth Vega. A rare bird and not well loved, but a twin-cam 2.2 that made over 130 HP was a big thing in the mid-70s. For reference, in 1976 when this was produced, a Corvette made less than 200 HP.
This is a thing that exists.
And so is this
This is my nephew in a BTTF DeLorean. They were taking donations for the Michael J Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
Polaris Slingshot. That little thing is awfully wide.
2.4 Ecotec. I could only imagine how insane it would be if it had a 2.0 Ecotec turbo...
99 Mini Cooper Special Edition left-hand-drive. They wanted 30k for it and it's titled as a 74 Mini.

Mmm, Greenbriar rampside. Oh, and you shouldn't have to apologize for liking Gremlins, not here, anyway.

Of course you can.
Wait, do you mean at the same time?
