On Sunday I went to an autocross that was a little different than usual. It was set up not in a parking lot but on a road course! NASA was cool enough to secure the North Carolina Center of Automotive Research (NCCAR) as a venue for this event, and it was by far the most fun I've had at an autocross before. Here's the video of my best run in my 88 MR2 Supercharged
I came in 15th out of 45 or so participants. I was beaten by a newer GTI racecar, two turbocharged FRS's, and a Civic with what must have been 10" wide slick tires, along with a few others. It was a super fun day and I really hope they can put together another event like this in the near future.

That's awesome! My local sets up at an oval every once in a while, and that's always way more fun than the runway ones.
