okay, you need to see all of the pictures first, but lets say they tried to tell me my front differential needs the fluid changed EVERY 3000 MILES, ON A RWD BIASED 4x4!!!!

Kinja'd!!!

okay, why did they not check the rear diff fluid? on a car that almost exclusively uses the rear differential? and if you read below, you will see that everything "supposedly" leaks

Kinja'd!!!

I haven't seen any transmission fluid on the ground, my engine does leak a little oil, but if you remember, the engine oil level was okay, to me, an excessive leak means its leaked all of its oil, but I bet it has leaked less than a cup over the past 8 months that I have owned the car, but of course every fluid is leaking.

There has also not been any fluid where the rear diff is, so I doubt the rear diff leaks, it doesn't really matter if the front diff leaks all that much, BUT THEY TRIED TO SELL ME A FRONT DIFFERENTIAL FLUID CHANGE

I think that is bull, and I'm glad I know enough about cars to know not to buy everything the people there say.

If your wondering why I didn't change it myself, it was because my mom MADE me have jiffy lube change it.

and I paid 36 dollars for that wonderfulness, with a coupon, I did get a rear wiper which honestly needed changed which made it cost 46 dollars overall. but I probably should have got it at NAPA or AutoZone to get the wiper.

Remind me of the time the dealer told me my transmission was leaking at the pan (is not...at all) and that taking the pan off is a 5 hour job for a total of 600. Um is a pan, it's not even obstructed. It's like an hour home garage job. See ya

So your blinker fluid levels were ok?

doesn't it take a total of about 5-10 bolts to take off that you can take off with a plain wrench or socket set, yeah um no?

I sincerely feel bad for people who know nothing about cars, they can be screwed over so bad by car repairs.

nope, leaking too :P

actually, not joking, my front left blinker has a bunch of water in it because the top is smashed out of it, when someone rolled into the front of it (I did not own the car at the time). and so there is water in the blinker.

I can't believe those uh, uhh, employees of Jiffy Lube even inspected most of the items on that checklist. I take my drain oil to a JL to dispose of and they spend about < 1 minute under a car and that includes the oil change.

Used to have that issue in my old escort. The headlights would always fill with water and short out my light bulbs or cause heavy condensation. So we wound up drilling two small holes at the bottom of each light and I was good to go.

The difference between your car and my Land Rover: everything on this list actually *does* leak. Also coolant, slightly. And the rear hubs. And the power take-off box. And the front capstan winch.

the three employees all seemed like they were about 15, and I was the only person there.
