It's not going to change the dealership system. The people in the market for a Tesla aren't going to be taking their business away from Chevy/Ford/Toyota/etc. dealerships.

Plain and simple: dealerships are afraid of becoming obsolete. Imagine if Circuit City or Service Merchandise had this much clout with state governments over Amazon.
