Quite a while back, my dad and I looked at a 2009 Audi S8 listed for $49,000. Well, it just turned up at a different dealer, with only a few hundred more miles, but the new price is a steeply discounted !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I say Nice Price all day long.

Yeah but what's wrong with it that they knocked 12 grand off the price for only adding a few hundred more miles.

This is the reason I have a problem with used R8 pricing.
You can get 90% of the performance at half the price buying other Audi products.

Nothing as far as we know. It went from a Lexus dealer to a luxury used car dealer, but both of them have excellent reputations. Plus nothing was wrong with it when I drove it.

Use the 12k discount to pay for repairs!

Exactly - That makes me more suspicious than happy lol
But I'm sure a thorough check at an Audi dealer would bring any possible problems to light, right?

Dammit sm70 - I'm trying to be responsible adult here and just be happy with my 05' Phaeton and not pull a complete Tavarish and send an offer to this baby...
10/10 - would hoon.

As much as I adore this thing, that price decrease and almost no usage of previous owner seems troubling to say the least.

No PO, it transferred dealers directly.

Oh! Then I don't think there should be much of a problem. Just a LOT of preventive maintenance.

My dad has had his 09' S8 for 3 years and 48K miles and has only had to replace the O2 sensor. It's out of warranty now, but he would keep it for another few years except he fell in love with the diamond-stitched leather in the 13' S8 and wants to upgrade.
