Are there any that are easily accessible? I'd love to watch it live. Or, does anyone happen to know what TV stations are covering it? Have a couple RC things for your trouble.

I usually try to search out a sky sports stream via Google. Mainly because I hate commercials and the direct tv hopper streaming sucks balls and refuses to give you a true full screen via a computer. It just can be a challenge to find a reliable sky stream that you don't need to refresh every so often.

Top one almost looks like the JATO I used to have

Never seen a JATO but thats actually a Revo. It probably looks odd because it has the narrower Phaltline on road tires.

Very similar, just meant for speed:
Top speed was something stupoid like 75+ mph

They aren't really similar at all, but I get where you're going. This is a stock Revo, give you a better idea of what they look like.

Oh man that looks much closer to mine on the top view. I really dig the Revo, I've been meaning to get another one except with better off road abilities as the Jato was as you can tell, not very taller with as much suspension travel.
That is one sweet looking machine

My Revo is pretty heavily modified, admittedly it doesn't resemble one very much any more. The Slayer is the one i have the most fun with though. That one will do almost 80 as it sits, but that's more due to the crazy engine.

Wow, I had never seen the Slayer on Traxxas inventory.... Excuse me while I convince myself not to buy this.
What mods have you done?

This is gonna be a long list.
Ahem,
Starting at the front, its got a billet skidplate, heavier servo spring, hardened diff gears and light weight diff oil, a HiTec high speed steel gear steering servo, wider control arms from the Slayer Pro, titanium suspension pushrods, P3 progressive rockers from the Revo, big bore aluminum shocks with titanium shafts and custom valves and 50 weight oil, and purple springs, carbon fiber mounts for the electronics to delete the radio and servo boxes.
The transfer case has a center differential, all steelgears inside, a slipper clutch from a JATO, a vented three piece brake rotor for the front and a rear brake kit on top of it.
The engine is an O.S. racing engines 18TZ Turbo with a larger flywheel for a bump box and a quick change air filter for off road racing. There is also a matched tuned pipe to go with it.
The tires I use on pavement are Proline Street Fighters yellow compound, on stock Slayer wheels, and the off road tires I use are Pro line Gladiators, yellow compound up front, green in the back. There's also aluminum bearing carriers/steering knuckles, titanium stub axles.
Its capped by the longwheel base Slayer Pro Mike Jenkins body.
Don't ask me how much I spent on this, I don't want to remember.
The suspension on the back us the same as the front.
